What this ally is
This is the management company. It supplies the chief executive and the senior team, controls the spending, and reports to everyone else.
Legal authority sits with the Legal Ally. Commercial authority sits here. Keeping those two apart is the main safety mechanism in the whole structure — the person spending the money is not the person deciding whether the rules were followed.
02
Who it suits
- Senior people who have carried profit-and-loss responsibility in multi-site retail, hospitality or venue operations
- Has managed a budget of $10 million or more against milestones, not just against a plan
- Has reported to a board and to outside investors before
- Can open a business in the U.S. — hiring, licensing, permits
- Can fund its own share across three instalments, and can show it
03
What you put in
- Its share of the cash, paid in three instalments
- The chief executive and the senior operating team
- Budget control and milestone certification
- Reporting to the other thirteen partners
04
What you get back
- 10% of the company
- An operating performance bonus
- 10% of any profit the company distributes
05
What you would actually do
- Run the business day to day and build the team
- Certify each milestone — the later funding instalments only release when it does
- Measure how every partner is performing against its service commitments and report it
- Hit the sales, foot traffic and engagement targets at the first location
06
How the shares are earned
Two tests, both of which must be met: paying each cash instalment on time, and meeting the agreed service levels. Because delaying a milestone certification blocks everyone else's funding, this is the role where failure to perform carries the heaviest consequence.
